Brief Author Bio:

Story telling is in my blood and even though I didn't do much fiction writing between high school graduation and my first year of NaNoWriMo, I've always had a story running in my head. I had an amazing experience that first NaNo and the characters from that story keep coming back for more. I've started editing several times, but never get very far. I think it all comes back to the fact that I want my writing to be fun. There are other areas in my life that require a lot of work. This is my safe place, my fun place, the place where I can do whatever I want and it doesn't matter. So, someday maybe I'll edit and rewrite and become rich and famous, but for now, I'm happy with the richness of my writing experience. Thank you Tiffany for introducing me to NaNoWriMo and opening my eyes to this wonderful world.

Synopsis:

Carrie, a high school teacher, takes a much needed Sabbatical and goes to Europe. While visiting a castle/museum where they are still exploring the oldest, deepest parts of the castle, she applies for a job on a whim. One day, she takes a wrong turn and gets lost, but meets a kindly gentleman that she assumes is one of the actor/hosts that works there. She later discovers that he is actually trapped between times, existing in that area, and that area only, in both her time and his own. They know he was sent there to save her world, but at the beginning, neither of them know what is he is to save them from or how to do it. Plus, they have to find a way to get him out of that room.

Eventually they learn that he is actually a shape-shifting dragon trapped in human form, whose memories of all things dragon have been blocked. His love for Carrie allows him to finally leave the room, beginning the pursuit of his ancient enemy, one of the Dragons of Chaos who was banished after the Great War, but has now returned with plans to rule the human race.
