Excerpt: Towards the End

“There is no Hell,” his voice was surprisingly unsteady given it was a matter of religion and he tended to despise the topic so much.

“Is that true David,” the woman thing hissed, tossing a ball of fire at his head.

He rolled out of the way just barely and knew without a doubt that his world had just changed in an instant. The supernatural that he had always discounted was real, and what was more, that new found reality was trying to kill him.
