Brief Author Bio:

In years past I was 'ShadowedWhispers'. I graduated from Lancaster University with a 2:1 in English Language and Creative Writing in 2008, spent 5 months unemployed, 8 months working in The Trafford Centre, Manchester (NW England) and am now living in Watford, Hertfordshire (SE England) with my boyfriend unemployed once more.

I like blue food, hugs, CHOCOLATE, pointless items, glow-in-the-dark parties, ducks, staying in bed, John Barrowman and Jack Skellington. I dislike homophobes, cold cheese, the colour pink, spiders, wet socks and Harry Potter.

I am a six time winner and this is my seventh year of NaNoWriMo.

Synopsis: Beneath the Underground

300 years ago, an alien race known as the Ospara crash landed in an open sewer in London. Used to the darkness, they created a new civilisation under the city but 300 years on, with their numbers dying out, they need new bodies to mate with.

And it just so happens that their DNA is compatible with the species living on the surface.

Setting up a system where fake underground trains appear out of the darkness, pick up unsuspecting passengers at quiet stations late at night, before plunging back into the tunnels and vanishing seemingly without a trace, the Ospara begin to rebuild their dwindling numbers, all the time unaware of the disturbance the missing humans are creating on the surface.
