Synopsis: The Phoenix Girl Chronicles
The Phoenix Girl Chronicles is a series of books I've been trying to write for nearly ten years. I do have a first draft of the first book, but my style has changed since then, so my intent is to start from scratch and amp up my descriptions and tweak the plot and characters to be what I've always wanted them to be. If I get through the first book, then I'll move to the second, and maybe even the third.
The series follows Celeste, the Bearer of the Phoenix Heart, as she learns what it means to be a Chosen One and fights to save the world (and all that good stuff).
In the first book, Celeste has been made to forget that magic exists, but that doesn't mean that demons have forgotten about her. Guroil, the demon who nearly killed the Phoenix has been unleashed, and he is seeking the Bearer of the Phoenix Heart to finish what he had started. She must open her eyes to magic before it is too late, or else the world will fall.
In the second book, Celeste's adventure continues as the time for the Phoenix to rise draws near. She must gather the Phoenix Flames to build the Phoenix's Nest, all the while combating the demon Guroil's strengthened forces who will stop at nothing to, well, stop her.
The third book? Well, I don't think I'll get quite that far. Also, describing it now would be a little bit... spoiler-y.
