Synopsis: N10

Some time in the 80s, the governments of the world discovered a force that engulfs the planet. They sent out an exploratory probe made of similar materials, then exploded a bomb within the Ether. The Ether is the connecting force that physics previously hadn't taken into account for "psychic" abilities and when they assaulted the Ether, it rippled out into the rest of the world multiplying the abilities of any psys in humanity.

Then, after seeing the first generation of children grow up without the apocalypse occuring, they decide to try it again- except this time, they decide to do again- only this time bigger. It immediately plunges the world into chaos- Houston, TX is lost when a pyrokinetic blew. Much of the West Coast was lost when our "wavelength" collided with another and there are now beings and people and those who used to be people across the world vying for power, but much of the infrastructure is down.

Madeleine Aust is just trying to survive in this new, insane world that doesn't make sense.
