Brief Author Bio: I grew up in S.C. (Myrtle Beach) and Ga. (Athens), spent most of my adult life following my military husband from base to base, being a stay-at-home mom and running a catering business. My husband happily retired, my son grew up and has a life of his own and I stopped catering. Through all of this I wrote for my own enjoyment, but never took it seriously. A recent health crisis had me taking stock of what is important to me and that includes my writing so I joined a couple of workshops and decided to give NANO a try. |
