Synopsis: Minette

The year is 2097.
The world population is now approximately at 15,000,000,000. Greatly overpopulated, governments around the world have employed policies in which a couple is only allowed to have one child, and that is only if their application to reproduce is accepted. Viruses are sent out into the populations in order to kill off the elderly, young and weak, all for the means of population control.

An agency known as the WPF has been formed.
Formed in the early 2020s as a new way to fight against terrorism, the World Protection Force, better known as the WPF, is an international agency. As the years have gone by, however, the WPF slowly becomes more focused on population control, developing viruses and crushing rebel resistance. The WPF's agents are young adults possessed by demons (gifted with super human abilities), and humanoids developed by Japanese developer Kouki Kobayashi. Together, the two very different agent types fight against those that wish to bring down mankind.

The 方式造成 (shēnghuó zàochéng) retaliates.
Located within Chinatown, New York City, Shēnghuó Zàochéng, or To Bring About Life (shortened as Shēngchéng) is what the WPF considers as an anti-human terrorist agency. Spread out across North America, Europe and Asia, Shēngchéng is the largest anti-WPF group in the world. Hoping to break down the WPF from the inside, Shēnghuó Zàochéng has high hopes to create a 'perfect world'.

Carsten Eichel comes to the stage.
One of the WPF's top agents, Eichel is in his late teens and remembers nothing of his past. His demon, Amducious, the only one who knows who he truly is, is reluctant to reveal the details. After years of service within the WPF, Carsten claimed to have gained a conscious and joined Shēngchéng as a double agent. Now a top agent for two completely different agendas, Carsten is promising to bring down the WPF to one side and to the other to bring down Shēngchéng.

Arih Generation C, Model 097 remains in the shadows.
Carsten Eichel's personal ARIH model, formed to serve him as the perfect companion. Blissfully ignorant of the soul within her body, Arih is convinced that she is nothing more than a robot. She has discovered Carsten's role of a double agent, but had been convinced by his demon, Amducious, to join Shēngchéng in order to please the higher ups within the WPF. After all, if she is able to gain more information about Shēngchéng's operations, wouldn't that be all the better?

And Minette Arceneaux becomes the starring character.
At the age of nine-years-old, Minette Arceneaux has lived a life far more interesting than most others. She had been possessed by a demon named Lilith since she was seven; her mother is missing, presumed dead; and her father was murdered before her eyes. Desired by the WPF for her enhanced magic capabilities and being a rumored 'Chosen One', Minette is forced into the WPF, and, soon enough, Shēngchéng. Bitter and fragile, Minette Arceneaux remains the catalyst within this tale.
