A lot had changed over the years, a distinct lack of the walking undead, mutated monsters and the sorts of viruses and parasites that had been apparently to blame for both of these, for s start. It was almost surreal to think of these things now though, somehow they did not see to matter, although the proof they once had were everywhere, their names jotted all over the calender in the kitchen which hung opposite the stove - it was an USAF calender, different planes showing every month, Chris had picked it out - and filling up her address book. A couple of them were sitting around the table right now, a group of people brought together because of a nightmare and kept together by a collective promise to never let it happen again.
