Brief Author Bio:

I'm a writer by trade, but I haven't ventured into the creative novel process before. I'll be writing about an historical character for middle grade readers -- I write for children. I'd tag is as creative non-fiction, but I'll allow it to morph -- it doesn't have to remain non-fiction. I realize that novels are non-fiction by definition, but I don't have a strict non-fiction reference type story in mind. The character is unknown by historical standards and is only known to me through her diary, so in the end, I can go anywhere I please -- it's just a starting point.
