Brief Author Bio:

Dr. Bauers is a freelance author and a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 30 years of experience in her field. She is a frequent contributor to AllAboutLifeChallenges.com, an online search engine that provides information on a variety of mental health and relational issues. She is also an adjunct Professor for Kings College and Seminary.

Deborah was recently privileged to be the recipient of a Pulitzer Citizen Journalism Award for her essay on Latin America's views of US politics in light of the pervasive influence of Venezuela's President, Hugo Chavez.

Dr. Bauers began writing while still in high school. Her first published piece, Ode to a Gold Dredge, was written in 1976 and accepted into the Alaska bicentennial poetry anthology entitled, Alaska 76. Over the years she has been published in a number of poetry and short story anthologies and has experience as a mental health columnist.

Her marital paradigm, Three Questions to Heal a Marriage, was published in 2004 and released in a revised edition in 2005 through Holy Fire Publishing Co.

Deborah makes her home in Colorado with her husband, John. Together, they have directed their passion, faith, experience and energies into the inception of a non-profit organization that exists to strengthen marriage and families.
