Brief Author Bio: Wanted to be a writer of some description as long as I can remember, have been trying on-and-off to get short stories published for the last three years without success. Am presently working towards a degree in literature. Last year I wrote a 56k word long novel for Nanowrimo that turned out decent, this year I've got an idea I am extremely excited about and am hoping to turn into a publishable novel. |

Synopsis: Orion
It is the year 2009 and the Cold War has not ended. A Russian Colony exists on Mars, and the Moon has become one of the primary staging grounds for both of the remaining superpowers, preparing for what is seen as an unavoidable massive conflict. But in the midst of the steadily escalating arms race, senator Thomas Eckley has found a source of hope: A message from an old friend on Mars. Now he has to travel to the Red Planet in secret, in the hope of bringing peace to Earth.
