Synopsis: The Shattered Throne

The High King has traditionally bound the various lords and ladies of Weslan into a traditional alliance and kept them from being destroyed by the other various nations, Unfortunately, the High King has died, killed in his sleep by an unknown assassin's blade. Rumours tell of his own guard being privy to the act, but as such, they remain rumours. Now, a battle is brewing among the thirteen Great Houses for the Shattered Throne. Alliances are formed and destroyed as back-stabbing and treachery ensue to secure power and glory for each house. In these troubled times, Tristam, the Sword of the King must find a way to bring peace to the kingdom, even through murder and bloodshed if that is what must happen.
