Brief Author Bio:

As I enter my mid-20's, I realize there's no way I can sum up my life in any form of brief bio. I work in a political office, but it's no reflection of me as a person. The level of "career" that it is for me is the same as a 16 year old McDonald's employee. It's a steppingstone. A waiting period for something greater. Until that something greater comes along, I write my ass off, play with my cats and love my partner like tomorrow is my last day. I want to write something that will change the world, but in the end it would mean just as much to me if it changed one mind. Not that I write anything deep. I prefer to remain a storyteller. A break from the political, legal, hard life that you're forced to live everyday and something that can take your mind off that BS before you go to sleep. Or something that can transport you even further while you're on vacation. That's what I'd enjoy.

This is my third year doing NanoWriMo, but this WILL be my first year to win it! I'm going hard and staying home!

Synopsis: Untitled Teen Novel

Think Twilight for gay kids, but not shitty, not about vampires, no sad and forlorn teenagers that make you want to wring their neck for not living smarter lives and a lot more character progression. Actually the only thing similar to my book and Twilight is that young adults and older adults will like it and no one will question your sanity when you admit that you own all books in the series.

The real Brief synopsis: Marcus is a young, Black male living in the Northeast and just starting high school. As if he didn't have enough to worry about when embarking on a new chapter in his life, most of the school thinks he's gay. What? yeah, I know, totally intense. Well, not really, but trust me. It'll be pretty fun.
