Brief Author Bio: I'm a pretty quiet, introverted person. I like people, preferably at a distance but not over a phone. Don't know where I picked up that paticular neurosis but it's pretty deep rooted. I read a lot, usually sci-fi/fantasy. Generally though, I try not to genre-judge. Except classics. Classics bore the crap out of me. I've picked up a couple that were okay, but not reliably. Otherwise...I don't know...excited for NaNo this year...that's about it. |

Synopsis: Birds of a Feather
I just wanted to get away for a couple days. Shut out the real world and relax. Well, I suceeded in shutting out the real world. Unfortunately its hard to relax when you've got a psychopath gunning for you because they think you killed them in a past life.
Now I'm trapped in a world straight out of the middle ages where everyone I meet thinks I'm a hero of legend. Including his old girlfriend, who thinks we're destined to be together. Too bad I'm more into his sidekick, a tall dark and handsome hunk named Cormorant.
As if that weren't enough, people in the kingdom my past life conquered are suffering from a bizzare plauge that drops you into a coma just when you start feeling better. Panic is running in the streets and I'm the hero they expect to fix everything.
I think they're expecting too much from someone who can't even get his love life worked out.
