Synopsis: The Saber Rose

Alexander Ashby wants nothing more than to prove his worth to his tycoon father. He finally gets his chance when his father sends him to the colony of Lukera to learn the family trade the old fashioned way – through hard work, determination, and a little bit of luck. Accompanied by one of his father’s lackeys, Alex arrives at Crystal Garden near the Abrecan Salt Flats, home of the Abrecan crystals and the source of his family’s fortune. Infused by magic from the storms that cross over the salt flats, these crystals are capable of many wonders, with the most valuable of them able to heal almost any ailment.

Here he joins the crew of the Saber Rose, the world’s first steam-powered hovercraft, captained by none other than the legendary gunslinger “Wild” Jim Griffin. As they ride out to intercept the storms and harvest crystals, Alex is raring for adventure. But he never imagined what he was getting himself into, because he’s about to find out Wild Jim’s daughter, “Abrecan” Kit, earned her name for more than her exotic beauty. She’s connected to the magic, able to sense both the storms and the crystals. Together with the rest of the crew from the Saber Rose, they will embark on a journey of discovery and unravel the mystery behind the strange disappearance of the people that occupied the area around the Abrecan Salt Flats almost 500 years ago.
