Brief Author Bio:

I came out of a childhood of chaos to settle down in in the suburbs of the Twin Cities with my husband, Ryan, and my two dogs and one cat. I've lived on four of the seven continents and attended three universities before I managed to obtain my bachelors degree in biology.

Now I work full-time for 'the man' at a biotech lab, but I aspire to full-time writing (don't we all?). My first publishing credit is a picture book called Under the Night Sky, (Tilbury House Publishers, 2008). I'm working now on a middle grade fantasy adventure and a YA social sci-fi/hero myth, but it's early mornings and slow going.
