Synopsis: Steel in Silk

It is 1754, in a history altered by the discovery of the Universal Equation and our ability to alter it. Two Bow Street Runners, Mr Matthew Parr, a vicious and sadistic fop, and Dr Nicholas Fleetwood, a fastidious and pious Geometrician, investigate a blackmail attempt on a member of the Diplomatic Service. However, this turns out to be the tip of the iceburg, as deepening lairs of deception and trickery unfold to reveal a web of intrigue that could well threaten England itself. They despise each other, but who else can they trust as the plot thickens and danger rears its head?

Complete with rooftop chases, duels, mysterious women, glittering swords, flashing flintlocks and perils galore!
