Brief Author Bio: I live in a small Texas town (in a 100-year-old farmhouse complete with white picket fence) with one amazing husband, two spoiled cats, and a garden-full of flowers and butterflies. I'm the mother of three (two wonderful sons and a fantastic daughter-in-"love"). This is my second year to participate in NaNoWriMo. The novel I wrote last year was a finalist in the contemporary romance category of the 2009 ACFW Genesis contest. Going for a second book this year. On your mark, get set... |

Synopsis: Texas Paths
Texas Paths tells the story of a young widow determined to carve out a path for her and her son without help from anyone else. But reaching her goal might mean leaving behind the place that's etched on her heart. Can she learn that depending on God is more important than depending on herself?
Excerpt: Texas Paths
In spite of the thousands of winking lights that surrounded Trish James, weddings somehow lost their luster in the wake of death. She adjusted the tulle on the wedding arch, the soft netlike fabric billowing beneath her finger tips as she wrapped the miniature twinkle lights. The church sanctuary had never looked better and she knew it.
As if on cue, Dani’s next words echoed her thoughts. “I know this wedding must be hard on you after Doc’s death.”
