Synopsis: In the Beginning

Over twenty years ago, the destruction of their moon by a vengeful alien race caused the entire population of a planet to take to the stars in search of a new home. Since then, their numbers dwindled to only one ship, which finally discovered an uninhabited world with similarities to their own. But when an enemy vessel appeared, only one emergency shuttle escaped the resulting battle to fall to the planet's surface, carrying thirteen people - all that remained of the once-thriving population.

The survivors, some of whom were born during the exodus and have never known life outside of the transport ships, are utterly alone on their new planet. They must learn each others' strengths and weaknesses, and cooperate to make a home for themselves here, if they are to avoid extinction.
