Synopsis: Snow Fall

Emma Burrows is a high school student living in Portland Oregon, a town more well known for its rain than its snow. She lives a small life, average friends at an average school. The only thing very unique about her life is what she doesnt tell people, about her dad having and dieing of cancer, or her parents divorcing.

When a week before school gets out a large snow storm his the City of Portland, the very unprepared city shuts down for a month. Most arent accustomed to near 5 feet of snow, and with out the means to survive in it theres nothing to do but wait till it thaws. With no school for a month, no way to see school friends, Emma is now very mutch alone.

Then meet Katie, a home schooled student who lives up a few streets from Emma, she is everything Emma is not. When the two meet during the snow fall, it changes the Emmas perspective on life, as she now finds some one that is willing to listen to her, she becomes more willing to tell some one whats going on in her world.

As the snow fall draws on they both start to realize their position in this growing and changing world, and just how much you can value a friend.
