Synopsis: Cross Your Fingers (If You Still Can)

Before she died, Anja Hale's biggest concerns were her credit cards, her cat and her concertos.

Then the fire started.

Now, revived from death by her errant ex-girlfriend Kitt, Anja has a whole new set of worries. Like how to play a Steinway with atrophied limbs. Not to mention how to tell her parents she's a zombie...

Can Anja adapt to the trials and tribulations of everyday zombie life and learn to live again?

Excerpt: Cross Your Fingers (If You Still Can)

The last thing I remember is dying.

I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking: it can’t possibly be. You’re thinking: it makes absolutely no sense. Perhaps you’re already even thinking: this girl is the least reliable narrator since poor old Roger Ackroyd snuffed it in the study. As a Christie fan, I sympathise whole-heartedly with that want-your-money-back feeling, and please believe me when I say that right now, I’d quite like my money back too. Because the last thing I remember is dying, and the admission fee was steep.
