Brief Author Bio: I'm the old-fashioned girl with a notebook and pen, sitting in the corner, chewing on the end of said pen and staring into space before the mad scribbles start. Don't get between me and my words! I distract myself well enough... |

Synopsis: Dust in the Glass
Emma and her hired swordswoman Elena travel through the countryside to find a colleague of Emma's aunt. They intend to return a magical artifact that Emma inherited from her aunt to its original owner, the Marquis de Chenevier.
But Elena betrays Emma to the Inquisition as a witch, and Emma ends up running away, disguised with her magic as a child. She is helped by Adrian, who finds out before long that Emma is no child, and that she has the artifact that belongs... to him.
Excerpt: Dust in the Glass
Suddenly very embarrassed, Emma nodded, red-faced. "I told you that I need to leave- and just because that woman didn't recognize me this time doesn't mean she won't realize her mistake and return. And I would have returned the horse. Somehow."
"So you're a considerate horse thief. Good to know." he said. 'Is that why you're so anxious to get away?"
