“See, now that’s where you’re wrong. I have it on good authority that you actually can help me, even if you don’t know it or don’t quite believe it yet.” He stood up as he talked, waving his arms about. Kuro watched from a distance and yawned. Ellithia bit her lip and took a few minutes to think, this was going no where. She needed to at least get free of her bonds and maybe think of a plan from there. She sighed, disliking every option available.
“Ok, lets say I can help you. Wouldn’t it be easier for both of us if you untied me so I could try?” She asked pointedly.
“Try?” Echlon smirked. “You mean untie you so I can let you try to run away. I don’t think so. You may be tough, and admittedly stronger then most women I’ve ever seen, but I know your type. The instant I untie you you’ll bolt and I’ll have to use Kuro here to drag you back to camp and that won’t be pleasant at all. Tough or not Kuro here doesn’t typically play nice.” To make his point he giant cat stood up and let out a low growl, pacing back and forth in front of the fire as though he was eager to stretch his legs out some more. Ellithia let out a long drawn out sigh. Why were men always so difficult.
