Brief Author Bio: I am a full-time dreamer, enthusiastic about too many things, and the Queen of procrastination. |

Synopsis: Guardian
The third book of the Chanteron trilogy, in which the author pulls out all of her hair trying to round up loose ends, and suspects that even she will be surprised and moved by the mysterious ending.
I'll post a real summary when I have a real idea of what I'm writing.
Excerpt: Guardian
“Do you think I could sit by and let another earthquake happen?” Gisele asked, a little offended at the idea.
“No.” Regan shook his head. “And that’s why I trust you.”
“I swore an oath to protect Lassar with my magic,” Gisele said. She could feel the weight of the bloodstone hanging around her neck, the constant reminder of her allegiance. “I know I’m young and inexperienced. But if there’s anything I can do to help you, I’ll do it.”
She would have done so even without the vow, but somehow it didn’t seem proper to say that to the king.
Regan smiled at her crookedly. “Can you fight fire with fire?” he asked, with an ironic lift of an eyebrow.
“No,” Gisele said. “But I think I can make it rain.”
