Brief Author Bio:

- This year I am going to write two novels - each 50,000 words! Wish me luck!
- Runs outside when it rains - even if it's downpouring!
- When I hear the name of any character in Beowulf or my novel-in-progress will squeal!
- Am a complete Pickle freek! - No! Seriously! Ask anyone who knows me personally! They'll tell you that!
- I LOATH writing on the computer!! Keyboards are so vulgar! So uninspiring!!!
So, yeah! Those are a FEW odds-and-ends about me! I hope to get 100,000 words written in November!
And may the pen never rest!

Synopsis: 'Redbud Grove'

"Just think about it Lori! If you marry Mr. Beven you'll be so much richer than you already are! This all will seem like nothing!"

"But I don't want to be any richer, Marria," twenty-one year old Lauren said twisting one of the stems of the daisies in her basket. "I care less for pearls, wine, and dainty meals."

Pressed by many suitors, all Lauren Eliza Harris (or as her family calls her "Little Lori") has ever wanted is to be loved by a man who truly loves her for her self - not for her money and looks. She longs for the day when the one comes and takes her away to 'Redbud Grove' - the quaint little cottage of her imagination in the country - away from noises of life in the town. As the years slip past, she knows very well the chance of one coming for her is slipping away with them.
