Brief Author Bio:

I was born the poor, white son of a sharecropper in the late 1950s. No, actually I was born in Washington state to an airline mechanic and housewife. When I was five years old we moved to Colorado, where I grew up, met my wife of almost 30 years, got married, forgot to have kids, fell away from religion, came back to religion, worked as an engineer for five years until I fell in love with computers in 1984 when the Mac came out, ran an IT department for a gas pipeline company for 11 years, got outsourced to IBM, hated my job for 9 years, quit and became my own boss, and somehow became a professional writer having written two computer books and writing for http://www.tuaw.com.

Breathe.

I decided to do NaNoWriMo this year because I like challenges. Not that I'm not busy right now (I'm actually completely loaded with work), but I love to have things challenge my mind and spirit. It's great to have a deadline to work against. and in case I decide to ever write a "real" novel, this should give me some great experience.

Synopsis: The Tipping Point

I've decided to just start over on last year's idea, about a group of people trying to survive and then thrive after a collapse of society.
