Crap. I had to lie to him. Yes, I was cheating on him and that's worse than lying, but he was really a sweet guy and boyfriend. The only thing wrong was that he shouldn't be my boyfriend. He should be another girl's boyfriend, one who'd love him more than anything. "I saw an old friend from high school! Totally lost track of time! But I'm coming over now with the beer! Don't worry!" I shouted into the receiver end of my cellphone.

"Kay! Love ya!"

"Love you too." I hung up and stared at the screen as it read "Call Ended." God, I fucking hate myself for doing this to him. It was perfect in the beginning. We were like honeymooners. And now...I pushed the thought to the back of my mind. I had to get my head straight before I saw Ken. If I didn't then he would know something was up with me. We've known each other since freshman year and now it's our junior year and he knows me better than I know myself sometimes. He's sees little things I do that give me away so easily. Not tonight though, I had to be perfect. I had to love him and smile and kiss him.

After I was done putting everything in my trunk, I closed it and went to the driver's seat. I started the engine and backed out before driving to the frat house. It was a short ride and I was there in no time at all. People were scattered around the front yard. Some of them were drinking, some were talking to each other, and some were already vomiting in the bushes. Two of Ken's frat brothers came over to me. "Hey Cal," they said in greeting.

"Hey guys. The beer is in my trunk." I walked to the back of my car and opened it up. The guys smiled to each other and then at me.

"Thanks Cal."

"No problem."

"Ken's in the kitchen playing beer pong." I gave a trying smile.

"Okay. Remember to close my trunk when you guys are done with bringing it all in."

"Don't worry, we won't forget Cal."

"Ok, well...I'll go see Ken now." I walked away from the two and headed for the front door. Come on Cal, get your head straight. Act normal, don't let him catch you off guard. Don't mess up, don't mess up, don't mess up...
