Synopsis:
There is a man who has no identity of his own; he can only relate to the world by assuming identities from stories.
Excerpt:
The man sat and listened to Ron for a while, and at the right moment began to talk himself
----
Jesus and the Devil were relaxing one day. Their work in the Grand Courtroom was difficult, and the two lawyers needed some time to relax and blow off steam. The cases that day had been difficult, and Jesus’ plea as the defense had be been met by firm rhetoric from the Devil as the prosecution, and the courtroom had been adjourned for the day. This time, they were walking by a river, laughing and talking about this and that, trying to forget the troubles of the courtroom. Jesus looked out over the water and saw that the fish were jumping, so he said to the Devil, “which of us do you think can catch the most fish in ten minutes?”
