Synopsis: The Rose on the Pedestal

Jake may just have found the perfect man of his dreams. Trouble is, that's rather literal - the man seems to exist only in his dreams, which may be realer than the reality that faces Jake when awake. He's also probably dead. And someone's sent him a glowing pink paperweight. What's a creative writing professor to do?
