Synopsis: Novice

Maren Banks was never very popular in High School. She had a few friends but mostly kept to herself. Determined to fit in from the start at University, she decides to join the women's rowing team. In a few short months, Maren learns about hard work, determination and even first love when she catches the eye of a young man on the men's crew team. But, when tragedy strikes, Maren and the other freshman rowers discover the true meaning of teamwork.
