Synopsis: The Other Guardian (working title)

Ava McKenzie just can't catch a break. After being unwittingly thrown into a world where vampires walk the night and Guardians protect the innocent--most of the time--she finds herself smack in the middle of yet another brewing conflict. Nicolae, the vampire sworn to protect her, wants nothing to do with the Guardian that shows up asking for help. However, an offer almost too good to be true changes his mind and the three unlikely companions set off to take down a Guardian traitor. Little do they know that an offer too good to be true usually is.
