Brief Author Bio:

I have a degree in English Literature with a minor in Professional Writing. I won an honorable mention in the 2006 CNW/FFWA Florida State Writing Competition for a short story for children ages 9-12. I have completed the Writing for Children and Teenagers course with the Institute of Children's Literature and am about to sign up for the advanced novel writing course. I enjoy writing middle grade and young adult fiction. I prefer to write in pen in journals before typing my work, so keeping up with the word count will be interesting.
