this is my first time participating in Nanowrimo. I found out about it by accident. My friends (aka writing buddies) were talking about it as we were eating together and I was totally into it. I'm intimidated because November is such a busy month for me but I'm excited. I can make it work (who needs sleep any way?)

I've been writing since I was five years old, though I've never been on a strict regimen like this, where I'm driven by competition and a time schedule.

I find it charming how just a few days ago I was crippled by writers block and now after finding out about this website, I feel as if I'm going insane with ideas and inspiration. My pen is hovering over my notebook-my canvas- waiting for 12 AM Nov 1. *giggle* It's going to be great.
