Favorite novels: Remains of the Day, Fahrenheit 451, Night Watch

Favorite writers: Terry Pratchett, Ray Bradbury, P.G Wodehouse

The form said 'favourite music for novel writing', not favourite music, period. Favourite music, period: musical theatre.)

Non-noveling interests: Musical theatre, ballet, fashion, historiography, turning things into pretty shabby chic pieces.

Brief Author Bio:

I like to think I embody the whole 'don't judge a book by its cover' mantra. (Don't we all? XD.)

I'm less than 5', wear exhorbitant amounts of pink, bows and pearls, and attempt to groom myself within an inch of my life -- and I would, had I the time! I spend 90% of my meagre income on clothes I cannot afford and I totter around in high heels, because while they may be impractical, they look fabulous. I have a soft spot for steampunk and vintage clothing.

I look like I'm sixteen even though I'm almost twenty. I've perfected the 'what, me?' look but I have a horribly depraved mind and have embarrassed teenage boys in battles of sexual innuendo, more than once. I haven't been fazed yet.

I'm also an avid follower of Gossip Girl and the Next Top Model franchise, and I'm only moderately ashamed of this fact. I devour BBC comedies, particularly Blackadder, Yes (Prime) Minister and Jeeves & Wooster. Monty Python is good fun, too. I am a wannabe musical theatre geek, because I can neither sing nor act, though I do pretend I can dance. My playlists consist mainly of broadway recordings, and classical music.

I have a penchant for European military history and I'd rather grind my characters up to epic levels than sit through a chick flick. (I play MMORPGs like they're going out of fashion.) I am the biggest geek and can solve a Rubik's Cube in under a minute. I like playing the historical settings in Civilisation IV and was amused for an unhealthy amount of time when I played Caesar and managed to defeat the Gauls in the first few turns.

My sense of humour is a confused mixture of dorky puns and failed attempts at British facetious sarcasm. I also don't know when to shut up.

At the moment my goals are rather lofty: to graduate from law school with a passably respectable GPA; to throw in my law degree for a Ph.D in English Literature and write multiple theses on Pratchett's Discworld; and to find the perfect black pleated skirt.
