Favorite novels: A Tale of Two Cities, The Catcher in the Rye, 1984, Dune, The Giver, Brave New World, Ender's Game

Favorite writers: Philip K. Dick, Frank Herbert, most any sci-fi, new or classic, Neil Gaiman, Laurell K. Hamilton, HP Lovecraft, my talented fandom friends who encourage me daily (and are amazing writers)

Favorite music: Listening to Covenant's music on repeat this year; occasionally adding in anything by VNV Nation, Bjork's Post album, "Something of a Love Song" by Libitina, random Jrock and more specifically Miyavi and the Naruto and Lain OSTs. Mirah, Roisin Murphy, inner, other strange stuff sent by my Canadian friend, heard on SYTYCD (I know...); anything that shifts me into my 'desperate writer' mood, haha.

Non-noveling interests: Naruto and Star Wars fan fiction, gaming, digital painting

Brief Author Bio:

aka, Lene. Technical writer, has ideas about writing something more than fan fiction.

Have stopped work on my novel because I felt the word count quotas were limiting my creativity, as well as the idea of 'spontaneously' just writing it. I've written fan fics that were 150,000+ words long. I have no doubt it works for some people, but I've decided to stick with my own methods of outlining and notes. It works for me. :)

So good luck everyone else, but I have to do it my own way.
