Synopsis: Secant: Stairway to Hell

In this sequel to Tangent, Sam and Joseph travel below the surface of Hale and discover it's darkest secrets.

Excerpt: Secant: Stairway to Hell

The pillar bore the same marks as the one at the Montegreen estate just in better relief and detail. I noted down a few of the coordinates that differed on this pillars signage.
"You've seen another one of these, haven't you?" he said.
I nodded. "There's one at the Montegreen mansion."
"Now that one makes sense. That used to be an Army depot," he explained.
"None the less, they've got a pillar and it goes underground."
"You've been inside?"
I nodded and opened up my laptop. I found Joseph's photographs and showed them to him. "Good God. Is that the Train?"
"I reckon it is," I agreed.
