Brief Author Bio:

When my daughter left for college in 2002, I really started reevaluating my life. I realized I’d been hiding - behind my job, my family, the safety of my nest - and suddenly I wanted more. I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted, but I started searching… I took up Yoga, which led me to some naturopathic approaches to physical and mental wellness. I renewed my interest in all things artsy, which has led me to a whole new world of healing by way of creativity. I started a blog and discovered my written voice (at least that I have a written voice - still exploring what I really want to say). I traded in my “couldn’t possibly” card for one that reads “sure, why not” and I haven’t looked back.

I have to admit that I'm a little apprehensive about nanowrimo - will I have the time, what will I write about, can I maintain enough momentum to reach 50,000 words? But my "sure, why not" side is telling me to go for it - what have I got to lose?
