Genre: Mainstream Fiction
About hunt and peckLocation: Finger Lakes - Western New York Home Region: Website: lakevoiceart.com Favorite novels: any that I can bring myself to read to the end - particularly those that I can't set down before reaching the end, and especially if they: bring tears to my eyes / make me laugh aloud raucously / make me throw an object across the room in anger Reviewed last years response and can't think of any better way to put it! Favorite writers: Carl Hiassen sure makes me laugh! Seuss did a fine job of creating new words to fit the situation - my hat's off to the doc! Favorite music: rare while writing, instrumental white noise is ok - Mark Knopfler if partying and not writing Thanks to last year's WriMo I got introduced to Pandora and have expanded my list of favorite musical artists tremendously. Non-noveling interests: certainly not working hard yep, in 09 I find that I still don't like working hard, but thinking hard is OK - pondering, even better! So as to not seem too aimless I should let you know that I do enjoy some hobbies in measured doses - remodeling my home, woodworking, camping, boating, jumping in the lake to cool off, voiceover, and would like to try my hand at painting with a palette knife! |

Brief Author Bio: If I finish this NaNo writing, it will be the first thing I have ever completed in my entire life - and I will have learned the valuable lesson of never taking on anything that requires more than thirty days to complete. Upon reviewing in 09, guess the above still about covers it! But... For kicks I bought a flip house and have spent the past three plus months remodeling it - hopefully just a week or two to go, but it's killing me - confirming that more than thirty days can be detrimental to your health. In reality I believe I could enjoy spending longer periods in writing a full length novel - maybe this year's the one! |

Synopsis: Good Catch
Too early to give it away. Once I've written a passage that I feel might be suitable as an excerpt, I'll share it.
Although I'd picked Mainstream as the genre, mystery / suspense may be a closer description, but my goal is to provide an interesting and enjoyable read that may require the reader to use some intellect.
