Brief Author Bio:

My name is Sydney. I discovered Nanowrimo on november 6th 2007. Much to my dismay, I missed the deadline, but was determined to come back. I came back in 2008 and completed my second novel, though my first nanowrimo win.
I've been writing for as long as I could remember. My dream is to be a novelist, but knowing that this is a nearly impossible dream, I hope to go the academic path and study public health.
I've always had a very active imagination, and so fantasy used to be my favorite genre. I have since moved on to something that satisfies me in the same imaginative way, but at the same time, satisfies my interest in the human mind and society. Science fiction. Though this is my favorite to read (besides my absolute favorite, non-fiction), most of my writings center around the horror genre and take place in modern times.
As a person, I have been described as cynical, optimistic, a realist, an idealist, logical, whimsical, serious, goofy, stoic, emotional, and geeky. I'll admit that all of these descriptions are correct, It just depends on about what and who I'm with. I don't believe in ghosts or the paranormal, and I make my decisions logically, but I have a sharp wit and cutting sardonic nature that my friends tolerate.
At my school, I'm President of the Arts/Literary Magazine. I'm also the President of the Strategic Gaming Club. I also have a slight obsession with Doctor Who.
