Brief Author Bio:

My name is Stephanie! I live in a out of the way village that no one has ever heard of. I love reading and writing, and I always have my head in the clouds. This always gets me into a lot of trouble! I am a deamer, a thinker, but also a fighter.

Synopsis: The Witch's Daughter

Imagination is a powerful thing, especially the imagination of a young child. But where is the border between fantasy and reality?

Melanie Wood is 23 years old, and like most people she spent hours of her childhood immersed in a fantasy world. But unlike most people it was not a world that she forgot about as she grew older. It stayed with her, in her heart.

And now someone from her childhood has moved back to the neighbourhood, and she's starting to make Melanie think that maybe the world of make believe she used to play in was more real than she thought...

Excerpt: The Witch's Daughter

I was too old to have these thoughts anymore. My childhood was just a distant memory. And yet, as I walked towards her house, I began to wonder if it had been more than just my imagination back then. How much of my past was real, and how much just a child's fantasy?

It was the cat that decided me. He was sitting there on the wall outside her house, his bright green eyes shining with intelligence. Just as I had always imagined, he was ginger coloured with a small star marking on his head. This was no game anymore. He was real. That meant the rest was real surely.

Surely she really was a witch.
