Brief Author Bio: I'm a holistic health counselor who craves pizza and ice cream; an introvert who craves to be the center of attention. I've had stories in my head for as long as I can remember, and am finally going to write them all down. |

Synopsis: Eating Through...
Chick Lit by default, creative nonfiction by nature. Call it autofictionography.
"Eating Through..." is the story of a woman who doesn’t go anywhere exotic or have any great spiritual revelation while she’s stumbling through getting divorced. Jennifer is a garden variety divorcee. She sets up her own apartment barely three miles from her marital home, endeavors to build her fledgling counseling practice, slogs through group therapy, tries to remember to eat three times a day and struggles to keep herself together when she’s out in public. She’s every woman, an average woman with typical worries about money, the unknown future, and food. Mostly food. Jennifer is a health counselor who coaches women on good nutrition by day while she eats entire pizzas and pints of Haagen Daaz at night.
This book will appeal to any woman who has ever settled, ever stayed in a mediocre marriage for fear of being on her own. It will motivate, inspire and console women who are poised to break free from second-rate relationships. It also promises to make you very, very hungry.
