Excerpt: Derek and Sierra's Epic Trip... and They Lived to Tell About It! ...barely

“I need to do something special right now. Like, this summer. Not in a week, not in a month, right now and have it last as long as I want or all summer whether I like it or not. I need to go find new places, new people, new things to do and just new everything.” Sierra paused slightly in this new revelation to look at Derek’s contemplative face before continuing on. “I want to change other people’s lives, make other people somewhere remember me even if I will never see them again.”

What Sierra didn’t know is that she didn’t have to continue any further.
