Excerpt: I have no idea!!

She had been having this dream, or some variation thereof, quite a bit lately, which added to her feeling of unease. She was being tracked by multiple entities—helicopters in the air, animals on the ground, men hiding in buildings, around corners, waiting and watching. She would launch herself for an escape route, which always varied—sometimes it was a tunnel underground, sometimes an open doorway, sometimes a gangway next to the building. Once she remembered it being a ladder to a roof which was rusted and rickety. Another time she perched on the edge of a dark, murky pool, debating whether to throw herself into the unknown or take her chances with her mystery stalkers.
