Brief Author Bio:

I'm single, live with a cat and a dog. I see inspiration everywhere and have started novels before. I have one that I started last year but never finished on my other computer. This year I started fresh, but perhaps I'll dust that one off and work on it after November is over. ;) I have not finished a NaNoWriMo yet, but one of these years, I will do it!

Synopsis: Shadow Queen - Elementals - Book One - Earth

Miana is an element - Earth to be exact. She spends her days being a domestic goddess to her three elemental sisters. But Miana is growing weary of her sisters' and of her life in human form. She is lonely and used. Can she find someone to love her, despite her elemental powers?

Excerpt: Shadow Queen - Elementals - Book One - Earth

As she gathered what few possessions she had that she wanted to take with her, she marveled at how much her sisters had and how little she did. She was more than content with just the forest and the companionship of the animals and plants she found there. The dresses and trinkets were nothing to her. The house, the biggest and finest in the village, was nothing to her. She needed none of it and none of it mattered to her. Her sisters were the only things in that house that mattered to her, but they were a part of the problem here, not the solution. She hated to leave, but the only solution was to do so. Then maybe, just maybe, they would see that she was a lot more important than they thought. It was time to let the normal course of action go here and let Demeter do her thing – allow some crops and not others – although even with Miana there, the seasons still changed, as Winter was Chrisana's season.
