Brief Author Bio:

Last year on November 28th I sat in a Roller Derby Arena surrounded by the screaming children and cheering drunkards of South Jersey. Still, I wrote. Writing has taken importance in my life over just about everything else, I simply hope it will remain that way forever.

Synopsis: Playing on Whiskey Street

A background of blues and purples is the jazz loving, bootleggin' life Madeline finds herself a part of. But it turns out that tradition isn't as squeaky clean as the new generation finds themselves believing. Gun shot wounds sometimes don't heal and often it's the ones you least expect that are making deals with the devil. Madeline isn't sure of anything except the sounds that her fingers can make when they dance like lovers across stained piano keys. But when she is forced to step back and watch the world around her she begins to realize that this hot drop, cool drink, smooth talking fast life cannot last forever.
