Brief Author Bio:

In which I break down, fictionalize, resurrect, rediscover, destroy, illuminate, evaluate, and generally avoid writing an actual autobiographical work - using the feelings that the subjects, the fear, the words generate for me as a leaping off point to tell a completely unusual and new story about the inside of my head and the workings of the world as I see them. The Book of James will be a novel based on feelings and told from the perspective of a struggling writer determined to break out of his own self-imposed creative prison - accepting every idea as it comes, but using judgment to break and rebuild something new out of them. I must get connected to my own written word again and make it something I can stand behind and proclaim and publish and celebrate for myself.
