Synopsis: Scions of Amasia

Amasia was a peaceful world devoted to exploration of the mind and arts until a mysterious illness began to spread across the regions of the planet. Some said it was a mistake created by a careless tinkerer, but others seemed to suspect outside influences. There was a struggle between the worlds of the Spaceways in the wake of the economic collapse of a handful of worlds; an alliance of two powerful planets was demanding that the only safety lay in creating a Hegemony. Amasia had, so far, declined to join, for they were not dependant on other worlds. But Raju, a clerk in the Amasian Parliament's licensing department, puts the pieces together of a plot to force his world to join the Hegemony by force.
