Synopsis: Changes

Change is in the air. The old order is losing its grip on the country in the face of ethnic and social division, widespread discontent, and the rumbles of revolution. But for Emma and Amar, the intricacies of politics pale in comparison to finding enough food and shelter to survive another winter on the streets of the city.
But the effects of the unrest cannot be avoided, and suddenly, Emma and Amar find themselves in a new and dangerous world. Not only from the political upheavel, but also Emma's recent "incidents," inexplicable transformations that are recieving unawanted attention from both sides of the revolution.

In this world, the only thing that remains constant is change itself.

(So yeah. This is a strange mix of young adult literature, fantasy, romance, and steampunk.)
