Synopsis: The Saga of the Seven Souls: Hope of the Pheonix

In small town Wisconsin, life has always been the same. Nothing changes. Nothing ever really happens...until the workings of the invisible worlds brings orphaned Zoe, broken Stephan, and disillusioned Elric together on the first day of school and push them toward a destiny that none of them have been prepared for in worlds they have only dreamed of.

Zoe, having grown up in the foster system after being abandoned as an infant, feels misplaced and insignificant. The life she lives with the Bakers is merely transitory, as is everything else around her. The only "reality" she experiences is her dreams at night...

Elric's reality lies in his firm belief that he will one day be a powerful wizard like his ancestors. Of course, no one believes that Wizards and dragons exist in the real world, yet Elric insists that he is to be the hero of his own story...a story of wizards and magic, dragons and adventure...

Stephan has been fighting his own internal battles all his life, never knowing that his struggles stem from the fact that he is a child of two worlds. Never knowing that the world he loves -- the world he draws in his sketchbook -- is more than merely an overactive imagination. Why would he not choose the escape that art provides when his real life is shattered and broken, leaving him feeling lost and insecure?

Suddenly, without warning, the three teens find themselves in a world more real than anything any of them have ever seen before. A war rages, invisible and unsuspected on the soil of the world they have grown up in -- the Middle World -- protected only by a group of seven souls tasked to guard the secrets of the First World. Only these secrets maintain the balance between the worlds, protecting the human souls in the Middle World.

The battle has been lost and the previous Circle of the Phoenix has fallen. Out of the ashes of the previous generation, a new Circle must arise. Like the legendary Phoenix, can the new unsuspecting generation rise from the ashes and embrace the destiny that awaits them, or will this generation also lose it's foothold and send the worlds falling to utter destruction in the war that has been raging since the worlds began?
