Synopsis: The Leningrad Manuscript
In 1932, Ruth -- a 21-year-old American employee of a joint Soviet American trade company -- arrives in Leningrad where she finds many faithful friends, a few sworn enemies and a true albeit unrequieted love to a famous Russian writer whose secret manuscript she smuggles out of the paranoia-ridden country.
